we're back.

happy new year, new york. you know you missed us. before you skipped town for the caymans, st. barts, aspen, or wherever you jetted off to, we asked and you answered. here’s what we found out:

most juli b readers in new york believe in having resolutions (as in 86 percent).

but somehow, they just don't keep'em. (only six percent actually live up to them.)

so what are the most common resolutions among juli b subscribers here, you ask? well, for starters, being a better person was the most important (67 percent), followed by losing those love handles (51 percent), and saving more money (47 percent).

strangely, drinking less (one percent) didn't even make it to the list. (go figure.)

and if buying fewer pairs of james jeans, louboutins, or whatever was even a thought, forget it. (you’ll just find another way to save the bucks, right?) in fact, shopping less and saving money are the two resolutions most juli b new yorkers really never keep.

and as far as significant others are concerned? if only they would just pop the question. or at least that's what 38 percent of you said. (hint: leave cartier catalogue on pillow.)

the good news? you’ll have all of 2007 to follow through. (or convince someone else to do it for you.)

here's to a great year ahead.
