enter sebastien kopp and francois-ghislain morillion, who feel your pain. after traveling the world for a year studying sustainable development projects, the pair decided it was time for fashion to get a smidge of ethics. dah, dah, dah (horns sound): veja – the first ever fair trade sneakers. their cotton comes from an organic co-op in northeast brazil, and their latex is sourced from the amazon. vejas are inspired by a 1970's brazilian volley shoe, and what's more is that only 5,000 have been released mostly in paris and tokyo.
