South Beach snazziness doesn't suit every craving. For your next meal on the town, opt for the vintage style Pied à Terre in the historical Cadet Hotel.
The first on-site restaurant for this newly renovated boutique property, Pied à Terre seeks a subdued, stomping-ground vibe. You may feel at ease here, but the impressive menu is a far cry from the comforts of home. Expect choices like sustainable Osetra caviar, smoked octopus and a duet of prime beef. The diminutive dining room (with seating for about 30) is tucked away from SoBe's nonstop party scene, so the atmosphere stays tame. It suits business and pleasure, but get romantic with a toast of Louis Latour in the sexy outdoor hideaway. If things go well, you cold even sleep over. It's a shoe-in.
