traveling en france? the new hotel particulier montmartre is the latest in town to have art aficionados and others running for reservations.

yes, this property was formerly owned by the hermès family, and new proprietors morgane rousseau and frédéric comtet, transformed the mansion into something you might spot in wallpaper. (particulier was decorated by not one, but seven a-list designers.) offered are only two rooms, two suites, and one duplex - also known as the vegetable room, window room, trees with ears, hats and poem and curtains of hair rooms. the salon is tastefully decorated by none other than chanel's mats haglund and collette, and is complete with original eames, alto and van der rohe pieces. the charming garden was done by renowned paysagiste louis bénech, the man behind the newly renovated jardin du tuilleries.

tucked in a tree-lined junction between l'avenue jaunot and rue lescot, this hidden gem affords a view of the old school and is just a few mins from sacre couer. all we can say is good luck trying to book.
