martin margiela may have left the eponymous fashion house he created 20 years ago, but he leaves his name shrouded in mystery. introducing his newest fragrance, untitled.
distributed by mega cosmetic house l'oreal, margiela had another mimimalist, art director fabien baron, design the chic and simple white bottle. perfumer daniela andrier, who conjured up some of your fave scents like YSL rive gauche, gucci rush and fragrances for prada, has made untitled a sultry unisex scent. woody and green at the same time, the juice contains notes of bitter orange, incense, jasmine and cedar, and is said to mimic the scent they give off after it rains. you may not be able to afford or have the pizzazz for a pair of margiela perforated leather booties, but with this scent, it's deemed to be worn by anyone, anywhere. the just-launched fragrance is available exclusively at colette, but will be rolled out internationally in april.
