up. if you're looking for some new fall items that you won't find on racks and

yes folks. laura creates her luxurious, slouchy knits right out of her brooklyn
studio. what's her story? well, she earned her stripes running the technical
design teams for both betsey johnson and heatherette. (lucky you if you've seen
either of their shows on the runway.) so last year she finally up and decided
to go solo. on her own. the chief rainmaker. adios. and good that she did. at
34, she's a girl to watch. and a girl to wear. note her low cut décolleté dresses
and comfy wool knits. oh, and the long beltable scarves.
now if only someone could bring back the suit vest. (wink.) she's done that too.
