the circle is going to get a bit more crowded this summer with the opening of 6 columbus,
the latest elevated hotspot from thompson hotels. this time the
blue ribbon is making the scene, too.
remember getting your card to go straight to the top of 60 thompson? get set to wait for your invite again. the new 88 room boutique hotel pairs the ultra-mod designs of
steven sclaroff with guy bourdin's retro-flash-fashion photos to set the mood. since no self-respecting traveler would
want their luggage being carried by a polyester-clad valet, look for hipster
denim uniforms by rag&bone.
what would an uptown hotel be without a trendy restaurant to match? that's where the
blue ribbon sushi bar and grill comes in. the 100-seater will feature japanese and blue ribbon faves. (this is BR's sixth city spot - coincidence?)
