some people get good advice from martha stewart. take, for example, martha stewart television alum abigail hitchcock.
she's put the advice to good use to open her eponymous resto, abigail. the brooklyn
stop boasts espresso-colored plank floors, marble countertops and a chandelier
lit dining room. vintage seating helps set the scene for abigail's seasonal
menu. the chef sharpened her knives at vong in london (in addition to her MS
television time), and also owns camaje bistro in greenwich village. there,
she conducts wine tastings, and leads food tours of NYC 'hoods. but over at
her new baby, abigail's bar will serve artisanal beverages and teas, along
with a selection of homemade cordials. and this is brooklyn, after all, so
expect her to host local music and poetry readings.
some advice from abigail? let go and let the good food flow.
