dear readers,

i was flushing through about 21,000 e-mails (no joke) that i've yet to open, and came across something that got me so excited, i quickly jotted an e-mail to my managing editor. i decided that this year i would pen a monthly issue on my personal, absolute favorites, things that really make me remember why i started julib.com eight years ago. (we know it's because i always have an opinion. not always a good thing.) so here's what caught my attention: chanel temporary transfer tattoos inspired by the 2010 spring runways in paris (see image).

now you can covet a new type of chanel jewelry of sorts. the idea of falling asleep in my stella mccartney lingerie, chanel tattoo in tact, seems so utterly feminine and sexy. (not that these tatts are just for watching gossip girl in bed.) they hit select chanel boutiques come march, just in time for balenciaga dress planning. i'm having visions of sporting mine on the beach in the hamptons or at the lady gaga concert i just bought tickets to. (crap, gaga is this month. not enough time.) okay then. for drinks at the boom boom room.

well done, chanel. you'll never cease to amaze us. happy new year readers and here's looking at a 2010 filled with things that make us happy.
