finally, a secret boutique nightclub that reaches the uber-chic level of design, style and atmosphere. cielo - the meatpacking-district's answer to lotus is attracting the most sophisticated undergrounders.
the club is designed by stephane dupoux (of miami's pearl and opium) and is headed by nicolas matar (a resident dj in ibiza and original son of a studio-54 member). cielo's musical vibe: deep, soulful and eclectic house with a latin twist.

the design is complete with banquettes, a small dance floor, beige and brown suedes and a window overlooking a private garden. what it lacks are the red velvet ropes and private vip rooms.

no attitude? sounds great but that may not guarantee your entrance. once the place is filled, the doors are closed and you're on your own. try getting into their website instead.
