up-and-coming designers in miami don't have to wait for the next round of "project runway" casting calls. at 5800, located in a landmark building near the design district, new talents can show and sell their accessories and looks. the shop has four labels permanently installed in the space (same G., krelwear, orangia and vivid T.), but the clique welcomes a couple of new faces every month. pick up unique "loot" from samantha greene's (same G. designer) dirty pirates line that's a mix of dark cool and light fun. don a rock-n-roll vintage tee from terri harris and grab a cocktail at the monthly shopping parties for emerging designers. and though the space is now open, be on the lookout for the website which is slated to launch at the end of april.
