house of lavande.

forget pucci. it's time to pay greater attention to vintage jewelry from the couture collection, house of lavande.

1920's machine age bakelite, atomic glam 1950's to studio 54-era lucite and gold. these are just some of the periods palm beach based-owners tracy smith and amy lagae comb for in flea markets and estate sales from paris to the palisades. (if you haven't figured it out already, they have a liking for all things parisian, which explains how they first met in a french class six years ago.) today, their collection includes upwards of 5,000 pieces, from hair and hat pins to dress and shoe clips. of course, there are the necklaces and such that help fill their palm beach, by-appointment-only studio.

it's okay, you can still enjoy your vintage halston. that is of course, with your new lavande broach.
