no need to get seeping mad. are chain coffee and tea houses making a mockery out of your quiet time? stop fretting now that royal/T café is open.
cafés, shops and art spaces are great on their own, but when the
three collide, it can become down right perfect. here, it's all about contemporary japanese culture; think of this spot as a great opp for the la-la girls to spice up lunch hour. pick up creative (and comforting) dishes like curry rice or smoked chicken with mango and wasabi mayo. royal/T is heavily inspired by tokyo's akihabara district, but it's still distinctly californian; you'll think they brought in rainbow brite to handle the interiors. the space is shared with the royal/T
concept store and art spot (pick up bags, design toys and magazines inspired by the latest exhibition). had enough anime? the inaugural concept of the shop is "kawaii kills," meaning things that are over-the-top cute (kawaii).
just make sure they leave some room for you.
