if you haven't tasted crispy rice with spicy tuna, you're out of excuses. the hollywood outpost of katsuya is up and running, and you should be doing the same.

this sibling to the same philippe starck-designed brentwood spot is sleek and mod, silver and white. but of course. it's starck. on the hollywood menu? miso-marinated lamb chops and kiwi-flavored scallops with yuzu vinagrette. garlic rubbed seared tuna and creamy rock shrimp tempura. but it's actually more than just about the food here. gallery-worthy goods are placed throughout the resto like clear acrylic displays and enormous, super shiny red lips. (again, it's starck.) stuck in a pseudo sushi museum are you? could be from one look at the tuna crab cone.

don't say we didn't warn you. like any good museum, be prepared to wait your turn.
