vivienne westwood's famous boutique isn't the only reason to brave king's road this weekend. the recently opened jimmy's gives you another reason to take a trek into the heart of chelsea.

rising restaurateurs james and rachael robertson have snapped up chef darling (and the michelin-trained) liam cooper to head their brit-focused kitchen. here, it's all about the good ol' hearty dishes of days gone by. with a continental kind of mod delicacy, of course. think juicy quail with bubble and squeak, and belly-filling classics like mutton and lamb shank pie. but don't forget your sweet tooth. a dessert of cooper's homemade knickerbocker glory and a cup of tea in the upstairs mezzanine is just the kind of enticement that will pull you away from your chelsea retail spree. got your taste buds all a-twitter? it gets better. all the ingredients come from the UK: farm fresh and sustainable, just as it should be.

consider it as good as a last supper.
