you may not know if it's istanbul or constantinople, but finding the best turkish bites in london town is no sweat now that the long-awaited opening of kazan is here.

this exotic, moody venue has got all the spicy style and pizzazz of the ottoman empire. a team of turkish chefs (straight out of istanbul's top restos) flavour all the tradish dishes with eastern spices and rare herbs. lime-infused fire-roasted prawns are a def fave. but you can't go wrong with a classic, either. savoury rolled koftes and baked aubergines in spiced tomato sauce saves any boring business lunch. tempted by too many choices? not a prob. start it all off with the house mezze, the ottoman version of tapas. think stuffed pastry parcels, hearty lamb stew and smoked vegetables. what's a feast without a little entertainment, right? hire your very own belly dancer or a tarot card reader for some zing with your fling.

want a fab night out? just say, abra-kazan.
