london's in full swing with killer clubs opening left and right. but this awesome foursome has risen above. whoever said good things always come in three's is clearly mistaken.

carbon neutral.
two-week-old carbon bar may be a toddler on the late night scene, but this moody glam space is already getting attention. an industrial-chic vibe runs through the lower floor where neutral-toned couches and tables sit beneath spot lighting and chain walls. add in a high-end champagne bar upstairs serving hard-to-find drinks and you have an iron-clad excuse to get out. at the cumberland hotel. great cumberland place. W1. number not yet published. www.cumberlandhotel-london.co.uk

strike a pose.
design-conscious cocktail bar and club en vogue recently opened with a little help from music master timbaland. go past the chandeliered staircase and come upon three different sections inside this kensington venue. but the pièce de résistance? the VIP white room. members and A-listers can chill on white leather chaises perched on marble floors. 20 kensington church street. W8. 02.77.95.66.56. www.envoguelondon.com

mayfair lady.
exclusivity it is. the team behind london clubs amika and movida have invaded the west end with maya club, complete with one of the most advanced sounds systems in the UK. your mission, should you choose to accept it: get on the golden guest list. 1a dean street. W1. 02.72.87.96.08. www.mayalondon.com

swingin' sixties.
inspired by art deco design and a bohemian spirit, new chelsea nightclub the valmont opens this month at the site of the famed 60s music venue café des artistes (favorite haunt of david bowie and the rolling stones). plush couches and velvet hangings are teamed with bright neon signs and gold-beaded curtains. dutch vintage lighting and individual music control systems are avail in each of the valmont's private booths. it's just the place for decadent, dangerous liaisons. 226 fulham road. chelsea. SW10. 02.73.52.62.00. www.thevalmontclub.com
