the
case for culver city.
exhibit a: there's a gaggle of galleries already
waiting.
exhibit b: the fish and chips at ford's filling
station.
exhibit c: taylor
de cordoba is in the building.
this
spankin' new space pops open on saturday, with its first installation
by angelino painter ryan callis, titled how it feels to
be something on. (not to be confused with on something.)
you might say it's a visual exploration of human issues sans
the group hugs and donuts. created by co-owners (and high-school
pals) heather taylor and alex de cordoba. yes, they're artists
unto themselves (she: jewelry. he: landscape photography),
but they prefer to focus on other local and emerging talents.
exhibit
d: we rest our case.
