who says bad energy is hard to shake?
sag harbor's newly unveiled jlx bistro has so far proved that wrong. yes
this location has hosted way too many restaurants, but jlx could just be
in for the long haul.
owner ed kleefield isn't even french, (but friends call him jean-luc anyway).
well this non-french jean-luc started with some subway tiles and vintage
mirrors. then he reeled in chef julio quisbert (nobu and too many others
to mention) for some classic (and really good) bistro dishes: the jlx burger
on an english muffin, a frisee lardon salad, and a steak tartar.
jlx also has a newly-added brunch menu, and even delivers a "boat
box to-go" to your 100 foot yacht (or kayak) during the month of july.
ahoy matey. jlx bistro could just be here to stay.
