just when you thought there weren't enough stores opening doors in east hampton,
the new elie
tahari boutique finally makes its debut. don't expect sarongs
and beach bags, folks. this store is madison avenue ready, and for their sake,
we hope shoppers are open to tahari's new fur and suede fall gear whilst mid-summer.
black sheer scoop-neck blouses, ivory trapeze coats and the such fill the once calypso locale. (you may have gotten a glimpse last weekend before being chased out by the still-existing construction team.) but sawing and sidewalk drilling aside, the new tahari digs
will finally welcome the curious come this weekend.
word of advice: wait until october at least to sport your new tahari garb since anytime
sooner will require an invitation to a kimora lee party.
