bet yer thinkin' all sag needs is a new cajun restaurant. you, and say, jean luc kleefeld whose new resto mumbo gumbo just opened.

last year it was jeff and eddy's. the year before that, a thai spot? (who can keep up with the previous alter egos of 62 main?) you already know JL east and JLX, but this latest spot is all about cajun bbq. then there's chef noah jacques (JL east), who has cooked up a citified southern menu: 'five napkin' bbq baby back ribs, blackened oysters and catfish, po' boys, and ten varieties of gumbo (natch). all which can be served with dirty rice. and, bless your heart, you've got the makings of a real mess. not to mention the handfuls of peanuts you already tossed on the floor.

because everything's dirtier in the south, y'all.
