you know stacey bendet for the killer-ass-pants she started alice + olivia with. now you have a new place to find them - and on a street with a biblical name, no less.

with a mix of mid-century mod, really mod, and slightly baroque antiques, the new alice + olivia boutique in southampton somehow fits in on fussy jobs lane, moving on up from the cozy nook on the circle in easthampton it occupied last year. the 1,000-square-foot shop is done in bendet's signature black and white with bursts of hot pink. the centerpiece, a bergere chair covered with clerie kimbel's black crocodile fabric is painted in hot pink (we figure bendet must have a thing for it) by the artist senz. and, because it wouldn't be southampton without a little ralph lauren sprinkled in, sweet treats from dylan's candy bar are plentiful. (not that sweets really promote the idea of fitting into bendet's pants. but hey.)

with a bit more casual selection than its sister stores (including a new noho spot on mott opening this month), you'll find rags for yoga, the beach, and, of course, dinner. did we mention pants? not that we'd rec spending a whole day in goods by one designer. life's too short. but we're just saying, you could. if you wanted. but don't.
