material boy.

move over wooden bangles and wooden shoes - this summer it's bespoke wooden furniture. certainly a new idea you can get your behinds on from jason lamberth's new hampton store.

consider him the indiana jones of decor: part treasure hunter, part designer (and just as cute as harrison). previously accessible via his warehouse in (shocker) brooklyn, he's opened an outpost in wainscott just next to georgica creek antiques. (see, you can take the boy out of brooklyn.) gone is the corner antique shed filled with chatchkies you never wanted to look at. in fact, lamberth's converted it into a display bedroom, while he sells most of the goods from the main house just behind.

fortunately, there's still a bit a b-town in his designs. they're eco-friendly - meaning none of the wood he uses is logged - it's all found. it's also culled from around the world so that you can feel better about global warming even if you still chain smoke (shame). our fave: a pair of nine-footer koi teardrop sculptures perched just in front of lamberth's store.

order your own, because we've already snagged'em.
