backtrack a few years. you wore those squishy summer jellies. you know, those rubbery, sometimes sparkly things that sold in every color imaginable. well, they're back. (and made for those who are way past ross school-age.)

designers from marc jacobs to ferragamo are going back in time and redesigning them. but this time, there's more of a twist. think bows, brighter shades like kelly green and canary yellow and new styles like peep toes and mary janes. stuart weitzman even went so far as to design the clear jellystone flat with swarovski crystals (pictured, $115). completely over-the-top? um, yes. then there's betsey johnson's bubblegum pink see-through ankle strapper. they look like something, well, like something betsy would make.

as of yet, we've heard of no plans for a tiffany lunchbox, or YSL roller skates (but we'll keep our fingers crossed).
