august 2007.
just when you thought there weren't enough stores opening doors in east hampton, the new elie tahari boutique made its debut. this store was madison avenue ready, and for their sake, we hope shoppers were open to tahari's fur and suede fall gear whilst still august. [read more]

the folks from nick & toni's took their tony selves over to the corner of townline road and montauk highway when they fired up their recent smoker, townline BBQ. [read more]

the RL stores are great and all, but actual polo matches started on the forth, a.k.a. the mercedes-benz challenge. debra messing threw out the first ball, or whatever they call it in polo. [read more]

super saturday 10 went off off without a hitch, hosted (for the third year) by kelly ripa (pictured). and really, there was something to be said for shopping for tory burch, alongside, you know, tory burch. or better yet, beating debbie bancroft to that burch bag. [read more]

june 2007.
we avoided the "waverly inn east" reference, even though everybody who talked about sag harbor's latest italian eatery, tutto il giorno, seemed inclined to make it. [read more]
