here's the news. new york-based valery joseph has opened his beach umbrella in bridgehampton. and he'll be taming tresses and taking names all summer long.
how does it work? well, they're bringing all the haircare comforts of their mad ave locale including cuts, blowouts, color, conditioning, extensions, hair relaxing, and japanese hair straightening (phew) to a temp space tucked in the rear cottage on main street. (yes, they were in the springs last season.) and bonus? they are also making house calls (names like boardman, bancroft, and davis not required.) book appointments weds through sun, and val jo, himself, will be sharing the shears on weekends.
now only one question: is sand in your hair reason enough for an emergency house call?
