houston | crème brulee.

sometimes you want to be called "kiki," or be decked out in "perlas," but there's a new lingerie line out that'll have you saying skin is in. enter brulee, straight from NYC.

the debut collection from bicoastal designer kristian giambi is divided into four lines: brulee classic, brulee lounge, brulee boudoir, and brulee black, ranging from sexy bodysuits, rompers, bralettes, boy shorts and thongs in luxe silk and chiffon, to comfy leggings and nightshirts in soft jersey and cotton. the rich color palette is very holiday friendly, in deep plums, blacks and soft ivories, which is offset by hand cast gold and crystal hardware. for now the line's only avail online and in a couple of stores nationwide—in austin, NYC and portland—but maybe stirring up local interest will get them into your town. the branding for brulee was developed by houston-based, women-owned deuce creative. "this line definitely speaks to what women want," says aimee smith, an FIT alum and co-founder of deuce. "it is more about what makes a sophisticated woman feel sexy than anything else." and speaking of sophisticated, the line was crafted with the jet-setting gal in mind. pack a silky cami for a night out, paired with a pencil skirt, or, um, a night in paired with you-know-who. the leggings and loungewear do double duty too, since they happen to be cute enough to wear during your daily run-around.

you'll think it's the crème de la crème. brulee. available at www.brulee.net
