haru? are you there? japanese resto haru is coming to town this month and will probably bring the same sidewalk-waiting crowds that hit new york's locales when they first opened.

yes this sushi franchise takes over the former home of dick's last resort. which is a good thing since we tired of taking faux abuse from the waiters at the old frat-boy stop. and if it's anything like its new york sibs, long lines are due to annoy. and some think for good reason. think tempura, maki double toro rolls and chilean sea bass. certainly not like your average japanese joint.
