More About Le Morandine Candle Series:
Inspired by the paintings of Giorgio Morandi, artist Sonia Pedrazzini brings still life to real life with her Le Morandine candle series. Individually handmade to resemble bottles with an etched weave pattern, each candle is unique and designed to be arranged and, then, rearranged – just like the Bolognese painter famously did with his glass bowls, bottles and jars before capturing them on canvas. The candles were displayed at the Zircumflex gallery in Berlin and then again at DEGNI DI NOTA/Design in Italy. Hopefully, your house is next.
