In our humble opinion, tablescapes don't get enough attention for about 10 months out of the year. Forget the Thanksgiving-themed decor and opt for a perennial pick like this hand-turned vessel by famed wood turner Edward Moulthrop. Formed out of rare Acer Negundo maple wood, the piece would sit proudly next to a pumpkin pie, but why make it compete with all those sides? Crafted in 1980, it's still in excellent condition and has a visible artist's mark on the underside.
