More about The Table at the Commissary :

If the city's hottest burger restaurant isn't quite hot enough for you, up the exclusivity ante by dining in a separate chef's room set for 12. It's all going down at The Table at the Commissary.

You know chef John Tesar is back in town with his genre-rejecting Commissary, and now be prepared to be enchanted at his newest addish: The Table. You absolutely must make reservations for a shot at this resto within a resto. Similar to the tasting flights at his former rosewood tavern, this multi-course meal starts with canapes and ends with a candy cart. (They call it deconstructed fine dining.) You can sit any time between 6:30 and 10 pm, but think of conversation starters on the way over. The 12-seat table will be a mash-up of perfect strangers (unless you reserve the whole thing). The sommelier is on hand to ensure your wines are paired perfectly. And remember, there's always burgers (try beef topped with a fried duck egg or the tandoori spice-rubbed lamb) in the adjoining Commissary for those nights when The Table is booked. - Porsha Thomas
