More about The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles :
Biz meetings, clubs, and events lure you downtown. Sometimes you want to skip the traffic home and stay. Your luxe new urban crash pad? The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles. Just follow the blue lights, my dear.
Perched on the upper floors of a sparkling, blue-lit, 54-story tower, this stunning new LEED-certified, Gensler-designed, hotel has 123 guestrooms (14 are suites). Barry Design did the interior right. Peep the mega (really, it's 3,000 square feet) Ritz-Carlton Suite with a piano, entertainment room, media corner, lounge, kitchen, and formal dining area. And with 400-thread-count linens and a veritable welcome mat for your pocket pooch, you can rest easy here. Hop into the fitness center with glorious vistas, or you can take it easy by the exclusive rooftop pool and bar. Don't want to bare it all? Slip into a private cabana. The massive spa is so glam you'll need shades, so book a champagne and citrus scrub or a glowing gold facial. Once you've spent a full day working up your appetite, whet it at Wolfgang Puck's WP24. Expect refined Asian cuisine in a spacious dining room, or a discreet wine cave for something cozier. And for a little fun, just check in with the neighbors: the Nokia Theatre, Grammy Museum, Staples Center and L.A. live are all within steps. Time to get tangled up in blue.
