More About Roti Mediterranean Grill:

Mediterranean meets metropolitan at Roti Mediterranean Grill, the first D.C. location for the Chicago-based chain.

Less than a block from that other famous Chicago transplant (we're looking at you, Barack), the quick-casual resto promises fire-roasted meats and house-made hummus prepared with fresh and simplistic style. Scientists have long advocated for the diet of these Greek isles, where fresh food and leisurely lifestyles abound. Now customers can grab a quick bite or take a long lunch with options ranging from breakfast sandwiches, like the conquistador (chicken sausage, eggs, avocado, spicy sauce, feta), to a lunchtime cup of lemon chicken soup. Still hungry? Don't pass up their signature sandwiches or kabobs with warm pita bread. And don't worry, vegetarians and gluten-free eaters, (in keeping with the healthful concept), plenty of options await you as well. Simply step on up to the counter and let them know how you'd like it (most meals can be prepared to order). Unfortch, island breeze and sandy beaches not included.
Our tips
For sandwich lovers, the roasted vegetable and falafel are our faves
