The new man in your life is actually Chef Jean Paul Desmaison, whose latest resto offers seasonal, sustainable new world cuisine with a Peruvian bent, sourced by local producers. That includes grass-fed, antibiotic- and hormone-free meats, FYI. Dip into crispy pork belly with grapes and Pisco 100, or baked crab cakes with honey and dijon. Set in a 1930s cottage, the space is meant to be inviting, like you are stepping into JP's actual home, with distressed boho furniture, mirror decorations, and tree print wallpaper. --Toni Kervina
