First came the club, then the kitchen, and now, esteemed chef Vivek Singh has opened his third venue ‘Cinnamon Soho’, just off Carnaby Street. This time round, Vivek has gone distinctly causal in his dining and you’ll find a British thread running through the menu too. East meets west in Bangla scotch egg; Rogon Josh shepherd’s pie; and Punjabi-style fish and masala chips. A menu of spicy, fiery cocktails accompany: sample ‘Burning with Passion’ - vodka over proof rum, orange juice, passionfruit and strawberry puree, dusted with cinnamon and served flaming. The resto’s spread across two floors featuring dark wooden walls interspersed with neon orange lighting and racing green lamps, teal coloured seating and marble-topped tables completing the scene.
